This webinar will provide an overview of how to design and deliver successful sustainable procurement of building efficiency performance measures. Topics will include a local authority perspective on effective public procurement strategies for construction, and a private sector perspective on integrating building efficiency performance measures into responses to tenders (solicitations for services) and the role of voluntary certification programs, such as LEED, within procurement regulations. The webinar will also include an overview of resources available from UNEP’s Sustainable Public Procurement program and ICLEI’s local government resources.
Webinar participants will learn about mechanisms to improve energy performance in buildings through:
