Sino-Danish Clean and Renewable Heating Cooperation Centre

The Danish Energy Agency and the China Renewable Energy Engineering Institute, in partnership with UNEP Copenhagen Climate Center, have established a Sino-Danish Clean and Renewable Heating Center to share and inspire each other with best practices in energy mapping, heat planning, legislation, technical and real-life applications of clean and renewable heating.

Knowledge Management System

The Copenhagen Centre’s Knowledge Management System (KMS) engages stakeholders in energy efficiency initiatives through knowledge sharing and outreach. The KMS provides users with access to selected information, reports, publications, and databases on energy efficiency. The KMS is a one-stop shop for energy efficiency that is linked to many other related initiatives.

UNEP DTU signs MoU with Electricidade de Moçambique (EDM) for energy efficiency initiatives

On 29th of May, UNEP DTU signed an MoU with the Electricidade de Moçambique (EDM) to together implement energy efficiency initiatives. The two organizations will now begin to explore possible collaborations in the areas of capacity building and project implementation. Specifically on projects for training and development of energy initiatives in some selected areas and sectors in Mozambique.
