Energy Efficiency Toolkit for Buildings: the guide to making the business case for saving energy in a building portfolio (Webinar) – 05.12.2016

The Energy Efficiency Toolkit for Buildings is the only guide to energy efficiency that takes a systems stance – focusing on the business case for energy efficiency, energy policy and strategy, and the financial assessment of energy efficiency measures. The toolkit has been developed by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD); it is supported by detailed case studies demonstrating how forward thinking organizations have implemented the toolkit.

Webinar speakers are presenting the main steps of the toolkit with real life examples of how SGS (global inspection, verification, testing and certification company) manages its energy to achieve a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions for its offices and laboratories by 2020, against 2010 baseline. The use of the toolkit in the context of a city engagement will also be explained with the example of Jaipur in India.
