The National Bank of Romania (NBR) become a formal member of the Network for Green the Financial System as they take particular interest in the analysis and research related to the financial risks related to climate change. They join 71 other central banks and supervisors to improve the analysis, management and reduction of climate-related and environmental risk in the banking sector. NBR joins the global response to addressing climate change by mobilizing mainstream finance to support the transition toward a sustainable economy. The NBR is moving toward alignment and application of specific climate risk analysis tools withing the financial stability policy framework organized in conjunction with the IMF.
