Who We Are

Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency is dedicated to accelerating the uptake of energy efficiency policies, implementation, and finance at a global scale. It works towards the prime responsibility of doubling the global energy efficiency improvement rate by 2030, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 7.

Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency is staffed by a highly international team of leading energy efficiency professionals. The Centre is institutionally part of the UNEP Copenhagen Climate Centre, its funding is project-based, and the main resources come from development and cooperation international programmes. Our geographical focus is developing countries and emerging economies.
