Clara Camarasa

Clara Camarasa is no longer employed with the UNEP Copenhagen Climate Centre or UNEP DTU Partnership since 2021

Clara Camarasa is a Postdoctoral researcher specialized in the climate-conscious transformation of the building sector. At UNEP DTU Partnership, Clara focuses on the development of analytical frameworks and tools to ensure the decarbonisation of the heating and cooling system, including the implementation of feasible energy-efficient technologies, integration of renewable energies along with smart solutions to reduce energy consumption and the related emissions.

Previously, Clara worked as a researcher and Project Manager, where she focused on building and market data projects aiming at accelerating the diffusion of low carbon and energy-efficient technologies.

Clara holds a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering, is fluent in five languages and is a certified Project Manager.

Clara Camarasa es una investigadora postdoctoral especializada en la transformación consciente del clima del sector de la construcción. En UNEP DTU Partnership, Clara se centra en el desarrollo de marcos e instrumentos analíticos para asegurar la descarbonización del sistema de calefacción y refrigeración, incluida la aplicación de tecnologías de eficiencia energética, la integración de energías renovables junto con soluciones inteligentes para reducir el consumo de energía y las emisiones conexas.

Anteriormente, Clara trabajó como investigadora y directora de proyectos, donde se centró en proyectos de datos de construcción y de mercado con el objetivo de acelerar la difusión de tecnologías de bajo consumo de carbono y energía eficiente.

Clara tiene un doctorado en Ingeniería Civil y Ambiental, domina cinco idiomas y es gerente de proyectos certificada.
