Clara Camarasa is a Senior Advisor at the UNEP Copenhagen Climate Centre, specializing in energy, sustainable finance, and climate policy. With over a decade of experience, she provides technical advisory, policy analysis, and business strategy development to support the global energy transition and sustainable development initiatives.
Before joining UNEP-CCC, Clara worked as a Policy Analyst at the International Energy Agency (IEA). She led efforts in energy efficiency for cooling, building appliances, and equipment, and was responsible for the E4 Latin America and China programs. Her role involved designing work programs, providing policy advice, conducting training sessions, and developing analytical frameworks.
Clara is also an active contributor to global climate dialogues, having co-authored the Global Status Report for Buildings and Construction 2024/2025 and led the Global ESCO Market Report. She also serves as a guest lecturer at Harvard University, where she discusses sustainable building futures and innovative financing models for climate resilience.
