15 funds were ranked by the Carbon Disclosure Project as having market-leading sustainability performance in terms of disclosing management of material climate, water and
deforestation issues, as well as asset manager governance of climate issues and investment
policy. A temperature (°C) score for investment funds is recommended based on analysis of these approaches as a means of reporting a comparable, readily understandable and outcome-based climate performance indicator. While there are a variety of measures for sustainability performance, a metric such as a temperature score is seen as a meaningful, outcome-based metric for reporting alignment with Paris Agreement ambitions.
