The global market for ESCO services is growing and seemingly rapidly. There is a bubbly feeling of something that is about to burst and flourish. That is the general sentiment from a 2-day symposium held in Istanbul on May 7-8, where the first Global ESCO Market Report was launched.

The report is developed on the basis of a common IEA/Global ESCO Network survey and provides a comprehensive overview of the status, challenges, and opportunities in the energy service company (ESCO) sector across more than 25 countries – representing not only the largest and most mature ESCO markets globally, but also emerging markets for ESCO services.
