Efficient Mobility: Electrification in Maritime Transportation (Webinar) – 24.07.2018

Among the various transport modes, shipping is one of the most efficient cargo transport. Yet, the significant growth of seaborne trade increased the energy consumption of shipping, despite of the improvement in the energy efficiency of shipping engines. According to the International Maritime Association, global fuel shipping consumption increased from 291 to 298 million tonnes (+2.4%) from 2013 to 2015. Thus, the global shipping emissions amplified quantitatively.

Check our webinar to know how to improve the energy efficiency in the maritime sector in order to reduce CO2 emissions, what are the technical solutions and how can they be implemented in real projects.
