BNP Paribas has announced a partnership with business and technology consultancy Baringa Partners to develop the bank’s climate scenario analysis capability. This is to strengthen their ESG risk management framework, bring additional objectives and data driven approaches to their climate strategy and commitments, and enhance client engagement and internal/external reporting. BNP will leverage Baringa’s Climate Scenario Model that enables users to see climate impacts from the portfolio down to the individual asset level. This will pave the way for others to follow across the industry.
