The African Energy Efficiency Fund (FAEE) launched by Attijariwafa Bank Corporate and Investment Banking in Marocco is a recent example of a private SuperESCO, an innovative solution to overcome the financial, technical and operational obstacles that companies face in the development and implementation of energy efficiency and decarbonization projects. A key partnership in the FAEE is with Econoler, which has more than 40 years of experience in the design, implementation, evaluation, and financing of energy efficiency and renewable energy programs, including the establishment of public and private SuperESCOs. During the webinar, the Executive Director at Attijari Capital Management, Mehdi Benjelloun, presented the scope, structure and experience in the establishment of FAEE, and its offer towards investments in energy efficiency.
