Cities are the centres of economic activities and population in all parts of the world. From 2018 to 2021, the Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency (C2E2), in its role as the SEforALL energy efficiency hub, used a standard template to systematically collect good practices of energy efficiency actions in cities and published them in Copenhagen’s Centre Knowledge Management System.
The C2E2 team gathered 100 good practices through extensive online searching and desk research, aiming to provide a valuable source of information for governments and other stakeholders interested in developing and boosting energy efficiency actions in cities.
Recently, Begonia Gutierrez Figueroa and Xianli Zhu prepared a synthesis report to analyse the 100 good practices. This webinar presents their findings of analysing the 100 good practices of successful energy efficiency projects and programs in cities. They will present an overview of the good practices, some quantitative analysis on their funding sources, investment volume, and energy savings. Lastly, they will share some reflections on how to replicate those good practices and scale up energy efficiency actions in cities.
