Rana Ghoneim leads the development of programmes promoting sustainable energy in industry in the MENA and French speaking African region at the United Nations industrial development organization. She also lead the development of an industry accelerator as part of the energy efficiency accelerator platform of the se4all, which was launched in early April 2015. She has over 15 years of international experience supporting member states to implement multilateral environmental agreements including Kyoto protocol, Montreal protocol and Stockholm convention. She holds a Master of Science in environmental economics from imperial college London.
