Module 1 – Introduction to District Cooling

This module presents the fundamentals of district energy. After completing Module 1, participants will be able to:

• Describe the role of district cooling in the decarburization of the building sector
• Describe, understand and discuss fundamentals of District Cooling Systems including types of projects, networks and components
• Identify and develop the main benefits of District Cooling Systems across various stakeholders
• Recognize and apply key steps in the development of District Cooling Systems planning: phases, assessments, stakeholders etc.
