Urban Climate Neutrality (Argentina)

The Energy Efficient Municipal Buildings initiative in Argentina aims to identify and fund projects that enhance institutional capacities, regulatory frameworks, and monitoring systems for public policies promoting energy efficiency (EE). The focus is on municipalities, as they serve as the primary link between public administrations and citizens, presenting an opportunity for improvement and knowledge sharing with other institutions and companies within their area. The savings and enhanced energy efficiency would contribute to achieving Argentina’s Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) objectives for mitigation.
