Sustainable Energy for All will feature at the UN Climate Summit 2014 and will launch the Global Energy Efficiency Accelerator Platform.
On Monday, 22 September, the day before the Summit, a special event will be held on ‘Implementing Sustainable Energy for All’. The session, from 9:00 to 13:30 in the Dag Hammarskjold Auditorium, will include high-level multi-stakeholder panels on financing SE4ALL, investing in energy efficiency, accelerating innovation in renewable energy, and scaling up at country level.
On Tuesday, 23 September, the day of the Summit, Sustainable Energy for All will host a policy session on the SE4ALL Global Energy Efficiency Accelerator Platform in the auditorium of the Dag Hammarskjöld Auditorium at the UN from 09:30 to 11:30. The session will focus on commitments by cities, private sector investment and civil society perspectives.
On the same Tuesday, the Climate Summit has dedicated a high level session to Energy from 17:10 to 18:30 in the UN General Assembly Hall. The session will feature multilateral and multi-stakeholder action announcements on both renewable energy and energy efficiency.
