Zhang Peng is currently Deputy Division Director of New Energy Department at China Renewable Energy Engineering Institute. He is also director of the Building Environment and Energy Application Branch of the China Survey and Design Association, member of the Ventilation Committee of the National HVAC Society, member of the Technical Committee of the National Geothermal Energy Center, and member of the Standardization Technical Committee for Geothermal Energy, member of the Biomass Committee of China New Energy Chamber of Commerce under All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and postgraduate tutor of
Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology.
Zhang Peng has long been engaged in the development and utilization of renewable and clean energy such as regional comprehensive energy, geothermal, biomass, hydrogen, and natural gas, as well as research and consultancy in the fields of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and fire protection. He has successively won 5 national, provincial and ministerial science and technology awards, 1 invention patent, wrote 12 national and industry standards, 1 technical publication as editor-in-chief or co-editor or author. His essays were published in professional journals at home and abroad.
