Dr. Yasuhiro Miki is a head of Building Environment Division at the National Institute for Land and Infrastructure Management, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism(MLIT), where he is engaged in researches on the technique to satisfy both environment quality and energy-efficiency in the buildings, and also engaged in the establishment of energy conservation standard for buildings. Dr. Miki majored in the field of architectural environment and received Bachelor’s Degree from Chiba University and he received M.Eng. and Dr.Eng. from the Graduate school of Chiba University by studying on understanding of spatial distribution of light in the built environment. He is a member of Architectural Institute of Japan, The Illuminating Engineering Institute of Japan, The Society of Heating, Air-Conditioning and Sanitary Engineers of Japan, International Commission on Illumination, ISO/TC205.
