Weihua Xiao is a Special Consultant at the Center for Global Cooperation of the Danish Energy Agency. She is responsible for planning and managing the cooperation project with China on clean and renewable district heating. Before joining Danish Energy Agency, she worked for the City of Copenhagen for 10 years, mainly working for the Strategic Sector Cooperation on Sustainable Urban Development Project between Copenhagen and Beijing as a project manager. Energy Efficiency in Buildings and District Heating was one track of the project. She also has a couple of years of working experience for an international company and the public sector in China.
Weihua holds a master’s degree in American Studies from the University of Southern Denmark and a master’s degree in Education from Shaanxi Normal University. She speaks fluent Chinese, English and good Danish. Weihua grew up and lived in Xi’an, China before moving to Denmark in 2005.
