Dr. Wei Feng is a researcher at the Chinese Academy of Sciences-Shenzhen Institute of Advance Technology (SIAT). Before joining SIAT, he worked as Research Scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) for many years. At LBNL, he led the DC power research in the U.S.-China Clean Energy Research Center-Building Energy Efficiency (CERC-BEE). He was also the lead of Net Zero Energy Building work in CERC-BEE.
Dr. Wei Feng has been working in the energy area since 2003. Prior to joining LBNL, he had worked in the control industry in China focusing on building system control for energy efficiency, performance measurement, diagnosis and commissioning.
His research focuses on building energy efficiency, distributed energy systems in buildings and communities, and building codes and standards. He also actively work on Smart Grid and microgrid research, Direct Current (DC) power use in low voltage power distribution system.
