Susana Paardekooper is an Energy Advisor at the Center for Global Cooperation of the Danish Energy Agency and team leader for the Türkiye energy cooperation. She is the former program manager for the cooperation with China on clean and renewable district heating. She was a PhD Fellow at the Sustainable Energy Planning Research Group at Aalborg University. Her expertise is in designing heating and cooling strategies in the context of sustainable energy systems based on experiences in the UNEP District Energy in Cities Initiative, Heat Roadmap Europe project, and various research and working positions.
