Mr. Silas Alvin Hupfeld is the team leader of Strategic Energy Planning Department at Aalborg Forsyning (Utility Company). He holds a Master’s Degree in Sustainable Energy Planning and Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Energy and Environmental Planning from Aalborg University. He has gained cross-sector insight on energy planning and district heating from his current and previous jobs. Before joining Aalborg Forsyning, he worked for Aalborg University as a scientific assistant, for Evida as Manager for Strategic Grid Planning, and NIRAS as Civil Engineer in Energy Planning. He also worked for the Danish Energy Agency for about two years.
