Rajnath Callychurn is a distinguished architect and senior public sector leader with over 30 years of experience in government infrastructure development. He currently serves as Director of Architecture at the Ministry of National Infrastructure in Mauritius, where he leads a team of 30 architects across multiple specialisations. His leadership has been instrumental in delivering a wide range of essential public buildings, including schools, hospitals, police and fire stations, and correctional facilities.
Rajnath began his career in 1992 after earning a Master’s degree in Architecture from Kharkov National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture. Over the years, he has steadily advanced through key leadership roles within the Ministry, culminating in his current position. In the most recent fiscal year, he successfully directed architectural projects valued at approximately Rs 3 billion, reflecting his strong project management skills and commitment to public service excellence.
Throughout his career, Rajnath has played a pivotal role in shaping Mauritius’s built environment, contributing to national development through strategic vision, technical expertise, and a deep dedication to quality infrastructure.
