Nihal Dilek Sümer Türeli is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Environmental Engineering at Hacettepe University. Her research interests are modeling residential end-use electricity consumption and renewable energies. Nihal received her B.Sc. from Biology Department of Ankara University, Turkey. She received her M.Sc. from the Renewable Energy Program of Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey. Nihal worked as a project assistant at the Clean Energy Foundation and the Ecological Research Society, where she was primarily involved in projects related to conserving wildlife and renewable energies. Nihal was a teaching assistant during her graduate studies at Hacettepe University. She is currently working as a researcher at the Atatürk Horticultural Central Research Institute, Yalova, Turkey.
