Nicole Watson has a background in political science and is currently a PhD student at the UCL Energy Institute. Her PhD research examines the changing relationship between consumers and the energy market as we transition to a more decentralised and smarter system, and applies a combination of expert interviews, survey experiments, and field trials. Nicole’s broader research interests include Open Science, behaviour change, and the distributional impacts of the energy transition.
