Morris Kayitare is the Project Lead for the Rwanda Cooling Initiative (R-COOL), a joint program of Rwanda Environment Management Authority and UNEP’s Unite for Efficiency, that supported the government of Rwanda in developing and implementing the National Cooling Strategy aimed at promoting clean and efficient cooling.
Prior to that, Morris was the director of National Primary Energies at Rwanda Energy Group, the National institution in charge of developing and implementing national energy projects.
Over the past 13 years, he held various positions in government and private sector, in the field of Telecommunication and Energy and Environment.
