Monica Musolino is postdoctoral researcher at the CNR ITAE of Messina (Italy). Currently she is working on the Horizon 2020 funded “Newcomers” project, focusing on the social aspects related to set up energy communities. In broader terms, her research interests concern the dynamics of participation and engagement of citizens in the processes of changing behaviours, sustainable consumptions and social acceptance of new energy technologies. Previously, she conducted some research on community-based initiatives in contexts of urban segregation, housing and energy poverty.
