Luis Mundaca is Professor at the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics at Lund University (Sweden). He is an environmental economist who works in the fields of climate change, energy, resource efficiency, behaviour and development. His research focuses on the assessment (ex-ante and ex-post) of policy interventions; including policy experimentation. He has served as a Lead Author for the IPCC Fifth Assessment Report on Climate Change Mitigation (Working Group III) and the Global Energy Assessment. He was also a Lead Author for the IPCC Special Report on Global Warming of 1.5C. He sits on the editorial boards of ‘Applied Energy’, ‘Climate and Development’, and ‘Energy, Sustainability and Society’.
