Kasper Møller Nielsen is the Center’s Sustainability Partner.
He is deeply committed to accelerating the transition towards a net-zero future for the maritime industry.
His work ensures that there is a sustainable way to an IPCC 1.5-aligned industry commitment while ensuring a just and equitable transition.
Amongst other roles, he was previously net-zero lead for the engineering and consultancy firm WSP, where he implemented and operationalized ambitious whole life carbon targets.
Prior to that, he hosted a TV series on climate adaptation and mitigation, as well as wrote a book on common climate myths.
Academically, Kasper has a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Economics, and an MSc in Climate Change from Copenhagen University, focusing on global climate impacts, mitigation efforts and climate modelling.
