Dr Karen Holm Olsen is Senior Researcher in the Impact Assessment and Adaptation Analysis Section at UNEP DTU Partnership, Technical University of Denmark (DTU) with 17 years of experience working with climate and sustainable development, focusing on capacity building for carbon market mechanisms. She is an experienced team lead and project manager, currently responsible for two projects on the transformative design of Paris Agreement Article 6 programs and transformational impact assessment. She has been the project manager for review of four IPCC special reports and has managed and edited multiple analytical publications in the areas of CDM, NAMAs, Article 6 and Green Growth. She is the supervisor of several PhD and Master thesis in the area of sustainability transition. She holds a PhD in International Development Studies (2007).
