Jingjing Gao

Post-doctoral Researcher

Jingjing Gao is a post-doctoral researcher at UNEP DTU Partnership. Her work focuses on climate adaptation and policy analysis, environmental impact assessment, nature resource management and circular economy. At UDP she is responsible for project management and technical support of adaptation and transparency projects in South Asia and Africa. These activities include climate adaptation and resilience building in Sri Lanka aiming at designing and implementing disaster risk management tools for local communities; technical support to various levels of adaptation guidance and policy briefs (OECD, GCA). She is also the country manager for Kenya for The Initiative for Climate Action Transparency (ICAT), which supports establishing MRV system and capacity building in Kenya’s energy sector. She also supervises Master thesis and international interns within adaptation policy analysis and climate resilience. Jingjing holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Assessment and Planning and a Master of Environmental Science.
