Ioannis is a Partner at Arbitrage Real Estate with more than 15 years of experience in real estate investment management, advisory and underwriting. Ioannis brings to the firm asset management, property development, sustainable investing and green growth expertise.
Ioannis is splitting his time between London and Athens to work closely with private equity and institutional investors to assess, structure and manage large-scale value add real estate investments in commercial and hospitality sectors in the UK and SE Europe as well as high yield REO opportunities in Greece deriving from collateralised corporate NPL portfolios of major local banks.
In the past, Ioannis worked for Europa Capital in London, where he oversaw various of its development investments in Europe. Prior, Ioannis worked for Deloitte in London, where he undertook advisory roles for public and corporate clients focusing on real estate strategy, management and transactions. Before Deloitte, Ioannis conducted consulting work for Citigroup in Rome. Ioannis started his career at METKA SA, where he was assigned project management responsibilities in civil projects part of Athens 2004 Olympic Games infrastructure.
Ioannis holds an MBA from ESCP Europe in Paris and an MSc in Construction Economics & Management from University College London. He is also a qualified Civil Engineer from National Technical University of Athens.
