Greg Gebrail is the Principal Specialist for District Energy at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. In this role, he works with district energy projects across the EBRD’s area of activity, i.e. in Central Asia, the Western Balkans, Central and Eastern Europe as well as the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean regions, and provides technical and policy guidance.
Past roles include work as a UK Government advisor on industrial energy efficiency and district energy, research and development of natural refrigerant based systems and the design and implementation of industrial combined heat and power, tri-generation and heat networks.
Greg is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with 15 years international experience in the energy sector.
