Giulia Chersoni is a PhD candidate at the University of Turin and Eurac Research. She works in complexity economics, in the research area of Innovation Diffusion. Her research incorporates behavioral economics theories into agent-based modeling to study the interplay between heterogeneity and interaction on the adoption of energy efficient technologies at the households’ level. She applied this methodology to investigate the effect of different policy measures on the thermal insulation investments, with a special focus on financial incentives and awareness campaigns.
