Elena Taxeri is a Physicist. She joined CRES at 1993, in the Energy Policy and Planning Division, for the development, implementation and management of sustainable energy programs. She is member of the EnR Energy behaviour working group and member of the Help Desk on the National registry of Energy Efficiency Certificates.
She has managed projects promoting the Energy Efficiency and RES implementation and developed energy information systems including databases, platforms and Decision Support tools. She has been working on programs related to the capacity building of public authorities towards policy reforms and to the behavioural change on energy consumption. She is experienced in networking with numerous stakeholders and in lobbying the European bodies for climate change and nature protection.
