Beth Karlin, Ph.D., is the founder and CEO of See Change Institute, which studies and shapes the role of human behavior in social and environmental change. She and her team are working on projects to train energy managers on behavior change, understand and influence adoption of smart home technology, and support local community choice energy programs in California. Beth is also Past President of the American Psychological Association’s Environmental Psychology Division, Associate Editor for Energy Efficiency Journal, and a member of the National Academies of Science Environmental Health Matters Initiative (EHMI). She earned her BA in Psychology, Masters in Public Policy, and Ph.D. in Social Ecology with an emphasis in Environmental Psychology.
