Since 2024, Dr. Ravagni has been the CEO of the Net Zero Innovation Hub for Data Centers, an initiative funded by Microsoft, Google, Schneider Electric, Vertiv, Data4 and Danfoss to accelerate the Net Zero Transition of the Data Center Industry.
Dr. Ravagni is a co-founder of InfraPrime℠, a climate-neutral data center infrastructure.
Previously, he was the founder and CEO of SOLIDPower, a market-leading fuel cells company, which commercialised fuel cells generators with clients including the Microsoft Fuel Cell Energy Lab in Seattle, Washington, USA. Ravagni was a member of the board of the Joint Technology Initiative for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells of the European Commission, a public-private partnership which manages a €1 billion innovation program.
Ravagni held global executive management positions at Oerlikon Balzers AG, Delphi Automotive Systems and General Motors.
Dr. Ravagni has a PhD in Materials Science from the Institute of New Materials (Saarbrücken, Germany), and an MBA from the Simon School of Rochester (NY)
Dr. Ravagni is named in 31 Patents and several publications in the materials and fuel cells field.
