Raiffeisen Bank International ‘Goes Green’ with ESG Incentive Scheme

Green buildings are incorporated into Raiffeisen Bank International’s (RBI) Green Bond Framework which features a sustainability strategy consisting of three pillars, including: the ‘responsible banker’, the ‘fair partner’ and the ‘engaged citizen’. RBI’s Eligible Green Loan Portfolio consists of loans to finance green buildings with a minimum of LEED Gold, BREEAM very good or DGNB/ÖGNI Gold. With the development of a Green Bond Framework and issuance of green bonds RBI has created new synergies internally and externally and intends to become a regular green bond issuer in the Austrian and Central Eastern European Markets.
