This policy and research report examines the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development’s (CCICED’s) 2014 policy research findings to understand the major policy progress and impact of CCICED policy recommendations regarding the environment and development. According to the report, China has achieved impressive economic progress in the fields of environment and development, with reasonable growth rate accompanied by steadily growing employment and implementation of policies for restructuring. China’s efforts to move toward a green transition show promising results, according to the authors.
