Energy Efficiency in Buildings; Sonora State, Mexico

In 2016, Sonora accounted for 4.4% of Mexico’s national electricity generation with the local installed electricity generation capacity being at the level of 3,140 MW. As per Figure, clean energy sources have only a small share (ca. 5%) in the local electricity mix (ibid.).
