DNB Boligkreditt’s Green Covered Bond Framework will finance energy efficient buildings in Norway that meet the following criterion: residential buildings completed 2012 or later; use certification methodology developed by the Multiconsult as EPC labels are not fully available; and country specific criteria from the Climate Bonds Initiative and within the top 15% “best-in-class” approach. DNB’s eligible green portfolio has an estimated average energy consumption about 469 GWh or 50% lower than the Norwegian national average along with 58,651 tons less CO
2
emissions.
