CEM Energy Management Leadership Awards (Webinar)

The Clean Energy Solutions Center, in partnership with the Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM), hosted webinar on the inaugural CEM Energy Management Leadership Awards.
Calling all global leaders in clean energy. The Clean Energy Ministerial invites your company or organization to compete for a prestigious global award by sharing your experiences in implementing energy management strategies through ISO 5000. Top companies and organizations will be honored with the Energy Management Leadership Award at the Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM7) meeting on 1–2 June 2016 in San Francisco, California, United States, which will gather energy ministers from the 24 CEM member governments and other clean energy leaders and partners from around the world.
Organizations around the globe are implementing ISO 50001-certified energy management systems to improve competitiveness and achieve and sustain energy, economic, and sustainability benefits. CEM governments recognize that ISO 50001 offers a transparent and business-friendly mechanism that aligns business goals with national climate and energy goals. GRAZIELLA SICILIANO, FELLOW, OFFICE OF POLICY AND INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS, U.S. DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY
Graziella Siciliano is an Oak Ridge Institute of Science Education Fellow at the U.S. Department of Energy where she has served as a coordinator for the Energy Management Working Group (EMWG) initiative of the Clean Energy Ministerial since August 2012. The EMWG works to cut global energy use by encouraging industrial facilities and commercial buildings to pursue continual improvement in energy efficiency through energy management. Working with government experts from member countries, Ms. Siciliano builds collaboration on strategies to accelerate implementation of energy management systems. Before joining the U.S. Department of Energy, Ms. Siciliano worked for three years as a Program Manager at the Alliance to Save Energy, a non-profit organization based in Washington DC. Her programs focused on building capacity of U.S. utilities to implement demand-side management programs and on increasing U.S public procurement of energy efficient appliance and equipment. Ms. Siciliano earned a B.A. in Political Science from Butler University (2002) and a M.A. in Energy and Environmental Policy and Economics from the Johns Hopkins University—School of Advanced International Studies (2009).
TRACY EVANS, SENIOR STRATEGIST, ENERGETICS INCORPORATED
Tracy Evans is a Senior Strategist in the Science and Technologies Division at Energetics. She provides strategic, communications and project management support to the U.S. Department of Energy’s Advance Manufacturing Office for Superior Energy Performance and the Office of International Affairs as Secretariat for the Energy Management Working Group. Tracy has led planning sessions, international workshops and over 300 webinars. She focuses on program development addressing energy management, industrial energy efficiency, corporate sustainability and environmental conservation. Prior to Energetics, Tracy worked for GreenBiz.com, the National Environmental Education and Training Foundation, and the Center for New American Dream. Tracy holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Maryland and served as volunteer in the U.S. Peace Corps in Guatemala.
NANCY GONZALEZ, ENERGY ANALYST, ENERGETICS INCORPORATED
Nancy Gonzalez is an Energy Analyst in the Science and Technology Division at Energetics Incorporated. She provides program design, implementation and project management support to various clients, including the U.S. Department of Energy. She has more than seven years of experience in strategic planning, research, communications and analysis of energy and environmental issues. Her work primarily focuses on energy management across the commercial and industrial sectors, federal energy policy and climate change. She is a graduate of Boston University with a B.A. in Environmental Science and an M.A. in Energy and Environmental Analysis.
